Hot Glass Sculpting at a Receptive Young Age...

GlassblowingAge10My art and glassblowing experience started at around age 4. Watching my father, who was a gifted glassblower, gave me great desire and ambition to start creating on my own.

By the time I was 10, the hot rods of molten glass I held in my hands became playful tools for creating my imaginations desires.

At that time, under my fathers guidance and watchful eye, I was already doing exhibitions of my art in front of many thousands of people while traveling to art shows and large Provincial and state fairs throughout Canada and United States. Needless to say, it was an early start to what was to become a fruitful, rewarding and adventurous career.

In my twenties, I made the transition from exhibition glass to gallery art. My pieces took on a new luster and were now appearing in galleries in Florida, California, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Hawaii and Bahamas. I had created a new technique of fusing pure 24 karat gold onto my figurines and sculptures that produced hues and shades of blue, red, pink and purple into the glass.
